Luggage City is proudly part of the K.Jamson Group, one of Canada's longest-standing independent luggage specialists.
Founded in 1930, K.Jamson began as a manufacturer of fine leather goods before growing into an internationally respected name in premium luggage, handbags, and travel accessories. What started at Toronto's harbourfront as the Jamson Shoe Factory evolved through decades of innovation, craftsmanship, and exceptional customer service.
Following the Second World War, K.Jamson was granted a business licence by the Canadian Department of National Defence to supply leather goods to Canadian naval vessels—a distinction that reflected the company's reputation for quality and reliability.
In 1975, K.Jamson opened its first retail store in Canada, marking the beginning of a customer-first retail journey that continues today. Through an unwavering commitment to service and operational excellence, the company earned numerous industry honours, including the Consumers' Choice Award, the Best Dealers Award, and the prestigious Best Retailer Award.

At the turn of the millennium, K.Jamson opened Luggage City—a destination unlike any other. Our flagship 5,000-square-foot travel superstore, complete with its iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa replica, quickly became the one-stop shop for everything that travels.
